Working with a child’s natural rhythm and energy, we introduce kids to the three principles of yoga - movement, breathing and meditation. As children grow, our classes adapt to their changing bodies and minds. This can quickly show results to both calm anxieties as well as improve concentration and communication — both with parents, at school and socially. 

Julia has taught at bi-lingual summer camps for kids in Tuscany, as well as classes with parents/kids and just for kids. She is creative and imaginative, introducing all the yoga basics in the most fun and magical ways. She not only manages a mixed age group but always fully engages them! The kids move from sun salutations to savasana & the final Namaste, and love everything in between as well. She brings in stories and games too—also in a fun bi-lingual manner so they learn language through movement too. She helps them master new poses, practice mindfulness and silliness to become the youngest yogis. 

 

Given her very active daughter, she knows the challenges of being a mom and has seen great results in teaching her own child and friends.
